Mission Statement: Area Agency on Aging 11, Inc. works with people, communities and organizations to plan and prepare for aging though education, advocacy and implementation of services.



Assistant Director of Information Technology:  Full time position – Under the direct supervision of the Information Technology Director and/or their designee, the Information Technology Assistant Director is responsible for assisting with the day to day operation of the Agency’s computer and telecommunication systems.



Required Education and Experience: 

Applicant must have a BA/BS in Information Technology or related field. 

Applicant must have 3-5 years’ experiences in IT help desk, hardware repair, computer imaging and deployment, printer installation, smart phone deployment and troubleshooting. 

Applicant must have experience with Windows Server 2012, Active Directory, NTFS permissions, Microsoft Office, basic networking concepts and troubleshooting. 

Applicant must be able to perform computer hardware repairs onsite.


Experience with VMware, SonicWALL firewalls, Microsoft Exchange, and VOIP systems is preferred.


Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.

Applicant must also pass a criminal background check and drug screen.



Essential Function:

The IT Assistant Director will be responsible for computer imaging and deployment.  Assist the Information Technology (I.T.) Director to help internal departments achieve their I.T. and communication goals.  Activities include but are not limited to, I.T. help desk, PASSPORT Information Management System support, phone system maintenance, printer/copier maintenance, software purchasing and installation, employee system account creation, supply purchasing, and department planning.  Directly supervise the IT Assistant.



Salary Range:  $56, 289.00 - $67, 547.00
